Getting online
Living on an Island we know the delights and benefits of our vibrant community life. We also know the challenges of staying in touch with family and friends who live “across”. The digital revolution has changed how we communicate bringing huge benefits to our lives. Lots of people now take the internet for granted, but for many people in later life it’s out of reach.
At Age Concern Isle of Man we are working to make those opportunities available for everyone.
Since 2009 our lifelong learning activities have changed lives, helping older people to get online and benefit from the new world of computers, tablets, smartphones and the internet.
If you’re over 50 and would like to get online (or you know someone who would like to ) contact us.
Our activities can only happen thanks to charitable donations, fundraising, and the support of volunteers and our corporate partners.
Want to help us? Find out more about becoming a digital friend or becoming a corporate digital champion.
No one should be lonely when family and friends are so close over the internet. No one should be excluded from learning new things or joining in community life because they cannot access a computer or wifi.
Together we can make sure no one is left behind.
